Poem #1, Day 1

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Summer is carefree, sun-kissed

lingering long and lustful,

You are neither warm nor sultry,

you descend thickly and smother

with your fog, and your

dampness seethes into

every crevice

your breath blows

a chill into the air,

my hair, and

everywhere.
